Collaborations

Milagen has established an important network of collaborations with major academic institutions and medical centers. These collaborations provide Milagen with additional clinical expertise, independent feedback and with the opportunity for independent third party validation of its products, thus accelerating the product pipeline of immunodiagnostic assays for early detection, prognosis and therapy management.

2004

  • May 24, 2004 - Milagen initiates research collaboration with MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, TX
  • April 15, 2004 - Executed research collaboration with UCLA / abstract publication

2003

  • November 24, 2003 – Establishment of a research collaboration with University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) on third party validation of Milagen’s biomarkers
  • November 21, 2003 - Expansion of research collaboration with NCI
  • August 12, 2003 - Milagen to initiate research collaboration with the Harvard School of Public Health
  • June 12, 2003 - Establishment of research collaboration with the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and the University of South Florida
  • April 4, 2003 - Establishment of a Confidentiality Agreement with the members of The Great Lakes-New England Clinical & Epidemiological Center of the Early Detection Research Network (EDRN), and the NCI

  • August 9, 2002 - Establishment of research collaboration with the Universitad Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) and the Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion Salvador Zubiran, Mexico, on metabolic diseases
  • May 29, 2002 - Expansion of collaborative effort with University of California San Francisco on other cancers
  • May 20, 2002 - Research collaboration with Academia Sinica, Taiwan
  • April 9, 2002- Milagen to initiate research collaboration with Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research, Tokyo
  • January 8, 2002 - Milagen to pursue research collaboration with University of California San Francisco

2001

  • November 21, 2001 - Agreement with the NCI for access to multi-year collection of cancer patients sera sponsored by the NIH
  • September 21, 2001 - Milagen to initiate collaboration with University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine
  • September 16, 2001 - Milagen, Inc. and Abnova Corporation to generate monoclonal antibodies to selected disease targets for diagnostic applications.

  • June 25, 1999 - Agreement with Instituto Nacional de Ciencias Medicas y Nutricion Salvador Zubiran, Mexico, to access state-of-the-art animal facility for the production of polyclonal and monoclonal antibodies
